D1: #2 Shiner @ Wall (3AD1) (@Fredericksburg) The measuring stick comes in here again. Wall has played games against #5 Cisco and #8 Mason. So this game brings a ton of intrigue easily making it the game to watch this week.

D2: Iola @ Somerville - Iola is 1-3 and Somerville is 2-3. This will be a big game as far as playoff aspirations are concerned. I know Somerville has made very few postseason appearances in their 100+ year football history. In fact it’s maybe a handful over that span…

Wall just like Shiner usually just reloads every year, but this is a rebuilding year for Wall. Think Shiner pretty big this week.

Shiner is very tough defensively this season. It will be extremely difficult for anyone to move the ball on them this season. Offensively is another thing entirely. While they do have the Brooks Bros and a lot of size. They’re just not as explosive as last season. With that being said. I’m thinking like a 28-7 type game with Shiner coming out on top.
