Re: LOOKING FOR GAMES
More than likely county officials and school districts put more emphasis on health than the AG does.
Re: LOOKING FOR GAMES
I did not think a district could change the calendar that the UIL has issued.

Re: LOOKING FOR GAMES
Shiner/EB should not be a last resort. I'd be tempted to miss a Ganado game to watch that one!!

Re: LOOKING FOR GAMES
I’m gonna say this. It’s been told to me that Shiner has called EB twice now. Once earlier in the summer when Shiner was initially trying to schedule games. And now once again after they both lost opponents for the same week. And the result... No game... I was told that neither team wanted to get hurt before district... keep in mind, Shiner called them. And Shiner was willing to play Wall right before this district change... So what does that tell you?

Re: LOOKING FOR GAMES
AG gave an opinion. ISDs would have to sue county officials to get overturned is my understanding of the AG's opinion.PurplePunch wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 6:43 pm I thought the AG said county officials can’t overrule school districts...
