I might be a little biased about this one lol. But it does feature a top 10 matchup between different classifications. It’s also a growing rivalry here in Lavaca county. Here’s to another Battle for Lavaca County! Though the private schools might argue a bit too!

I would agree with the Shiner and Halletsville being the GOTW in Region 4.

Should be down to the wire, taking Shiner by 7.

I was real surprised on how are line play was able to block Halletsville .And the defense was all over there QB when he was trying to pass .Looking good for the first game and expect for them to keep getting better

Yes I was pleasantly surprised by our defense. It was perhaps more stout then I thought it would be! Offensively we need some more work. But it was only game 1. I think coach B will have it figured out by district.
