Albany vs Windthorst

2.00pm friday in Breckenridge 20 minute drive for a playoff game.Both teams only loss was to Hamlin,Albany in my opinion are vastly improved since that Hamlin game should be a good game always is between these two teams

I watched the Windthorst vs Hamlin game and I was surprised at how tough Windthorst played Hamlin. Hamlin rained on Albany... So, I'm thinking Windthorst gets this one done... JMO.... Both schools have strong traditions and great legacies... But, I have to give the edge to Windthorst.

As a Archer City fan, I have to say Windthorst is a team that really doesn't have any weaknesses. They are also peaking at the right time.
Good luck to Albany this week, as I think Windthorst is the team to beat in the region right now.

Windthorst 18 Albany 13 another typical game between these two evenly matched, Windthorst just made fewer mistakes,another coulda shoulda woulda game from Albany

Windthorst now 6-1 all time against Albany.

2003 @Albany 35-28 - Windthorst lead 35-14 in 4th qtr but an onside kick recovery then a Trojan turnover made this game appear closer than it actually was.
2003 @Shotwell 21-14
2004 @Memorial Stadium 28-19
2008 @Breckenridge 16-20 Albany was a 22 point favorite by Pigskin Prep. We dropped an interception and on the next play Albany scores on a 70-75 yard screen play in the final minute of the game.
2019 @Graham 24-20 we convert all 3 2 point conversions while Albany only converts once
When we missed the first extra point yesterday, I had flashbacks to the 2008 game.
