Itasca cancels rest of their season
Itasca has canceled the remainder of their season due to not having enough healthy kids. Coach made it clear it’s due to attrition and not Covid.

Ranger did too.
From Ranger ISD Facebook
Ranger HS football games for this week at Cross Plains (today) and next week with Hico (10-29) have been cancelled because of COVID "close contacts" quarantining in our high school boys' athletic program.

The ‘close contact quarantining’ is what bugs me! Two weeks, even if you test negative

Yeah that’s taking it a bit far in my opinion.

Our company has a two-week close contact policy. Not sure if there was any truth to this but I heard a school talked about having "breaks" every 14 minutes so they could technically say they weren't in close contact!!

Re: Itasca cancels rest of their season
I heard Ganado canceled Halloween but I haven't confirmed the validity of this. If that is true, I am not surprised. In the last 1-2 years Ganado has gone liberal in a hurry. Hard to believe since 60% or more of the town is conservative, but they're letting a few at the top run us like a city in many more ways.
