I know that Hawley and Anson will be a war.

Two schools that are 11 miles apart and do not like each other. Throw out the records any year and this game is always a fight to the end.

Friday night more than likely will be for the district championship and like always, should be a good one...

Go Bearcats....

Very true on the no sickness, that stuff is very scary to say the least. And as for the injuries, we had a bout with that bug a few weeks ago and still have one out from the 8 or 9 that were out for the Bangs game. I would have liked to play that game at full strength, but I will say this, Bangs has a really good quarterback and he is very good at the run-pass-option (RPO).

His dad coached at Hamlin his freshman year could tell he was gonna be a good one.

Well, he is certainly very good, not sure how it translates to the next level given his size, but he is certainly fun to watch. I'm not sure how the connection is between Hawley and Bangs. I am told that one of the Bangs coaches played for Coach Ables' dad, so Coach Ables knew him as a kid. Then there is the Roscoe and Hawley connection, which I am told that Coach Ables went to school at Hardin-Simmons with their head coach.
So, that is why we also play Bangs and Roscoe.
