It spells good things for Shiner. Making and even winning state is a tradition and not something y'all take for granted I am sure. Good genes, coaching, parenting, expectations, and program really do propel Shiner year in and year out.

While success in elementary and jh doesn't necessarily translate to hs it sure is a good indicator of what's to come. Our 2011 football team never lost a pee wee game in all 6 years of football. They were a special group and went 11-1 on 2010 and 2011 losing to title finalist Goldthwaite and Mason the champions in 2011. This is football. You know what you have coming up in a small town. Number of kids per grade, ratio of boys to girls, who the parents are, etc.

Ganado is in good shape across boys and girls for the next 10 years. I am thankful for that as the 2014-2018 years were not kind to Ganado in any sport.
