There's know doubt Ganado is going to be good. I think with shiner core starters and some great young talent coming up we will be hard to stop. The freshman from last are going to another year older. We have 2-3 freshman coming in this year that will be impact players. We will have speed all over the field and we will be deep in skilled players. The lines will be another year older and bigger. This team reminds me of the 2020 team. Speed and a wide variety of backs running the ball.

Ganado returns every linemen for 2026 and again for 2027 so it'll be a strength. We have 2-3 potential freshman starters but with 9/9 returning we don't really have room for starters. With move in from Edna who will start both ways that is 10/10. He has been here since early September and will play his first varsity action week 4 in any sport. He's waited a whole year.

An away game Ganado at Kenedy could be tricky. I will say I am glad their huge rb graduated. He was a hoss. Game plan for their qb and wr I don't know if they have enough around them to beat a Shiner Ganado Mason Joaquin.

While Kenedy probably has the most talented individual in the district, they lost a lot on the lines and their huge workhorse at RB. They certainly have the most downside in the region.
