Re: Enrollment numbers
That’s alright, I’m not a subscriber so I can’t see it. Did Anthony or Tornillo opt up to 3A? Or both? Or is Tornillo even playing football then next 2 seasons? That is probably the extra team in 2AD1 I have. Then in 2AD2 I’m guessing a team or 2 decided to play 6-man instead of 11?

Re: Enrollment numbers
I think this list is solely based on the school size. I would expect to see the Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, and Austin schools to be at the bottom of each classification but the writer put those in their size classification so in my opinion the list is rather useless!!!TroRAntelope wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 8:23 am Sorry it won't let me post the list>

Re: Enrollment numbers
The one thing throwing off 2AD1 Region 4 is where they put SA YMLA (San Antonio Young Men's Leadership Academy), they were 4AD2 2 years ago, last year they were 3AD2 in a district with Poth in 2024 and 2025, and they just turned in 196 so that puts them in 2AD1.....Stepp has them in the Mason district but I think that's too far of travel for YMLA....so I could see them in the Shiner, Ganado, Weimar, Flatonia district

That'll be interesting. I don't know anything about them and I'm assuming they're not a threat to win region 4.

Re: Enrollment numbers
There might be a ton of questions surrounding 2AD1 still. For example, where the 3 schools you just mentioned are headed. And what’s up with Anthony and Tornillo? Who also both have 2AD1 numbers. Tornillo played an outlaw schedule the last 2 years. And Stepp in a tweet 2 years back said they would return to the UIL in 2026. I’m guessing if both of those play football, they will most likely opt up to 3A. But is that official yet? Same with the 3 schools you’ve just mentioned. And what about Danbury? I don’t see a school in San Antonio being included in a district with Danbury. I thinks it’s more likely they get put with Mason. They put Stockdale with D14 and Mason a few alignments back lol.Windthorstfan wrote: ↑Fri Dec 26, 2025 2:59 pm Hmm - I have a 106 Div I schools, I wonder if UIL is not putting Dallas Gateway in a district.
