Weimar JV and Snook varsity playing tonight. Weimar JV up 20-7 at half.

5-1 going into tonight. They were without two of their better players week 1 against Boling. They were up 16-14 going into ice it and the QB had the ball knocked out of his hands with less than a minute left and Boling returned it to win 22-16.

Probably going to see 1-2 freshmen move up after this week that have some speed. Outside of the 3 burners, they have a ton of beef. The freshman class and the 8th grade class will end up complimenting each other well.

Still a question what is going to happen next year with a handful of those 8th graders. You got 3 that will have size and speed and two will tower over the rest, even as Freshmen.

You’re seeing it now in 8th with them going more power spread (think Kiffin’s Offense) and throwing it around the field.


The sophomore class is more size than speed. Lots of big boys. About half play Varsity and half staying down this year. If I was a betting man, this years version of Weimar varsity will be the lesser one of the bunch for the next several years.

Yeah, depending on what Rogers and a couple other schools to the north do, that district 15 could be wild.
