I'm worried about Refugio's depth. This could be the best offensive line they've had since 2016 so that helps. They already have one wr/db that is out for the season with a back fracture. If they lose a lineman or another wr/db they will have major problems. They have the talent to win, and Ray is an exceptional and explosive runner at the qb position but has to get used to handling the ball a lot more bc he had a couple fumbles after some long runs against Goliad today. Looks to be an average thrower that will need to improve but they opened up an entire new offensive scheme with his running ability compared to last year's qb. I'm looking forward to the Tidehaven scrimmage and Edna game which will probably be the only time thy are tested before playoffs. I'm not sure how the season will go but one thing I do know is that this is the last year we will be state relevant for a few years minimum so Refugio fans should enjoy this last hoorah!
