A lot of 5a and 6a football teams do play the 1st round at home if you win district but I'm not sure if they flip a coin.

I personally like playing neutral site games so I don't really care to play another home game.

Pyrotechnics... so little Johnny can pretend he's in an NFL stadium. As if the idiotic train horns were not dumb enough.

I'd like the championships to rotate or be played at neutral sites determined by each championship match-up.

I agree, but seriously doubt that will ever happen now, unless Jerry changes the agreement with UIL.

There's some fans that are quite fond of watching indoor football in a controlled environment in December. Mind you, a good portion of these haven't followed any of the actual teams on their way to Arlington.

I agree. I like being able to watch the championship games on tv. If there's a way to do it without it being at Jerry's World that'd be great.

That's playoffs in general. The state championship game would still be one game. 2A and 1A are the only classifications that a one game playoff is still an option.
