I'm going to group these into tiers. It's my opinion based on the entirety of the season. And I will say I watched a lot of Region 1 and 4 throughout the season. Watched a few Region 3 games during the season but more during playoffs and watched no region 2 games until late in playoffs. With that said here are my final rankings:
Tier 1: Championship Teams I thought could win it all year
1. Ganado
2. Stamford
3. Refugio
4. Sunray
Tier 2: Really good top ten teams who I thought were a little below tier 1(I know post beat sunray)
5. Hamilton
6. Post
7. Marlin
8. Hawley
9. Mason
10. Joaquin
Tier 3: Good teams just below tier 2(I know Axtell beat Mildred)
11. Panhandle
12. Mildred
13. Axtell
14. Honey Grove
15. Centerville

Honestly feel like any team in the same tier with another team could beat them even if they're ranked lower. And also feel like tier 3 teams could all play with tier 2 teams with some upsets along the way. And tier 2 teams could play with tier 1 teams but without the upsets besides maybe one or two. Let me know if y'all think I missed anyone or got this totally wrong.

The only region I know really well is region 4 and then I have been keeping up with region 3 and this year region 1. Region 2 is a mystery for me. I think you did a good job.

I'm curious and if you get a chance, can you do a preview of top 5 teams from each region? Or even maybe top 10 for region 4

I think Ganado should be around maybe 8-10 next year. Refugio I think will be somewhere from 1-3.

It's hard to predict next year top teams without knowing how many each team has coming back and also the quality of returnees (all-district, all-state etc.) Most top tens usually look close to the same as previous year but sometimes that's not the case i.e. Timpson this year. The only team I know right now that will be in top ten is Refugio. They have one more good year before the drop off. They won't be a top ten team 2026-2028 imo before it picks back up in 2030s will be a similar decade from 2010s talent and success wise. lol I know that's looking way way ahead but believe me when I tell you Refugio has one more chance to win state this coming up season then a few years of not having a chance to win before picking back up in 2029-2030.

I saw him in church Saturday when I was there visiting. He lives a block from school and church. He's a great person.
