Any thoughts about this game?
I would rather have seen it as a quarter final game rather than an early round.

I hear ya! I’m sure Falls City and Junction are feeling the same way!

I'm going with Sunray in this one by 14+. Columbus-Palestine Westwood and Poth-EB in 3a is another that has no business being this early in the playoffs. But in the end their can only be one state champion in each division.

Yep a lot of good games in the second round but I think this one is going to be really good and close.
It literally could come down to one mistake being the difference in the game.

Ganado Mason 2011 2nd round
Ganado Goldthwaite 2010 2nd round

Plus the ones mentioned above.

After Albany played Sunray last year I figured they would be tough this year they have a really good qback,
Panhandles only loss this year was to Sunray they might give Stamford a game

This game is probably going to be won in the trenches, and I am concerned with Sunray's size. I'm also concerned with our receiving corps, we lost our number one/two receiver for the season in the Eastland game, which has hurt dearly. He played many positions as he was not only one of our best receivers, but he was also our safety and center fielder on defense as well as our extra point kicker / field goal kicker, so losing him has been truly felt.

But we picked up the twin brothers that run track exclusively and they are like deer, but they have just started at the end of the season after the state cross country concluded and they are working hard to build chemistry with our quarterback. It comes and goes at this point, but I am not ever going to gripe about adding speed to the line up and will always take what we can get. This is going to be a very tough 2nd round game as Sunray is a very good team. I just have to say... Good Luck to both teams and Go Bearcats...

2 kids just started football in the last few weeks? That doesn't seem appropriate to allow that imho.

About 10 years ago a few kids in Ganado came out after 2 a days finished and were allowed to play and I don't think under normal circumstances that should be allowed. I'd need a good excuse ir I was the coach.

Had a player try to do this in Shiner a few years back. Coaches here don’t allow anyone to join mid season.

Were the two players natives or were they move ins?
