Week 5 Rivalry Games

Post by PurplePunch »

Mason is at Junction, and this year comes in as big underdogs. The Punchers have scored 13 points and given up 120 in losses to Comanche, Comfort,San Saba, and Wall.

The Eagles opened with a 38-12 loss to Ingram. Since then they’ve beaten TLCA, Iraan, and Hico by a combined score of 129-31.

For the season the Eagles have scored about 11 X as many points than the Punchers. This looks like it could get ugly!

How about other rivalry games this week?

Flatonia is at Shiner. I’m not sure this is much of a rivalry to talk of. But no one else has played Shiner as often as them Bulldogs 20 miles up hwy 95

LOL!!!!

Might get ugly for Junction....I am not a betting man but if Mason played the schedule that Junction has they I would bet they would have scored 11X more points than they currently have! Also if Junction had played Mason's schedule they would be in the same boat and would have given up many more than Mason.

1217 teams ranked in the state of Texas by Maxpreps, Junction has played 1185, 1194, 1195. Ingram Moore was 734.
Junction is the lowest ranked team Mason has played to date at 1007 - 141, 256, 317, and 329. Mason is ranked 746. I expect a 4-5 TD win for Mason. You ain't getting away with the woe is me!!!!

I was at the administrative offices at 7 to get two of the 50 tickets that went on sale at 8 am. Each varsity player got two tix, so grandparents and siblings have to scramble or watch on YouTube. What a messed up year this is!

I stayed at home and streamed tonight’s game cause it’s homecoming and I didn’t want to take tickets away from any family wanting to attend. I mean... I didn’t exactly miss much of a game afterall
