Yes I see that. Lol. I think we should be able to take care of Joaquin.

It'll be the biggest upset in playoffs if y'all lose. No one outside of Joaquin and a few east Texas homers on smoaky think they can.

It'll take a bad game for us to lose. We still need to get there and take care of business. I was watching Columbus and Franklin and saw several straight turnovers by Frabklin. That can turn a game.

Joaquin is well aware of the challenge that is in front of them.
But let’s be honest, Nobody outside of Joaquin gave them a chance to have any success this year.

Finished 2-7 last year, lost 6 coaches over the off season. Picked last in district by DCTF magazine. Had a slew of injuries early in the season and couldn’t seem to put consistent play together. Continued to improve. Finished fourth in a tough district. Were the underdog against Centerville and Cooper and gutted out tough wins . Got several kids back from injury in-time to play Shelbyville with one of the best Athletes in 2A DJ Barnes . Told they didn’t have a chance and absolutely dominated . Moved on to Honey Grove (which even folks on here were worried about) and told they couldn’t stay within 30 . Pretty much dominated that game .

So here we are with no “chance” again, and you could be right or this group of kids could surprise again . At this point, we are playing with House Money and have nothing to lose . The slogan coming into season was “Joaquin Vs. All Y’all” and it has been so true . Win or lose, I am incredibly proud of this group of kids that so many people had written off.

I agree that what Joaquin has accomplished is even more of an accomplishment over what Ganado did last year. We were picked 4th but didn't have a new coaching staff and weren't picked 6th. If it isn't Ganado which I think it will be, Stamford will put an end to the Cinderella story. Ganado wants to make our 1st trip to state same as you guys. 🙏 for a healthy game Thursday and safe travels.
