Hard time trying to count Masons numbers they were split up on 2 different fields, rough guess 60 or so. I never found 3rd field where the big lineman were practicing.

De Leon’s team picture showed 21 JV, 18 Varsity... I was told there were a few missing, but that should be close.

I remember Goldthwaite being so good in the 1990's and also when y'all beat us in 2010. How many kids were coming out then versus now?
We usually had around 35-40 back then.
We are lucky to have enough for a jv nowadays.
Football is just not a priority around here like it use to be.
We have had some really good jr high teams the last few years, but it seems kids lose interest when they get in high school. Honestly I think it has a lot to do with work ethics nowadays.
When I grew up, mama and daddy didn’t buy me a new truck and whatever I wanted. I had to work to earn it and my own gas money. That’s reality.
On the plus side, we do have quite a few juniors who has played two years varsity football. Staying healthy is still our top priority.

Ganado has about 40 kids but I couldn't get an accurate count due to most of the gates around the field being locked.

We’re down to 27 on varsity, but still have two JVs. Hard to count them because we’re getting a new track so they have the JV kids practicing in an area behind some oaks.

I’ve never heard an official number for Shiner, but they had orotund 60 total last season. And I heard everyone returned and then some. Apparently some boys that didn’t play last year showed up this year. Besides the freshmen of course

38 on the roster going with 14 on JV and 24 on varsity is what I hear.
