Region 4 Games of the week!

[Shiner99]

I was so glad they let the backups and JV players play the whole 2nd half. Was good experience for them and good break for the starters

Refugio 56 Taft 10

DCTF had Taft by 1 I think. Good thing I picked Refugio.

The app shows 56-10 Refugio. Either way, whuppin for sure.

Region 4 Week 8

2AD1:
I mean how could it not be #1 Shiner @ #4 Ganado? District title on the line. 2 top 5 ranked teams Duking it out. Could be a preview to a playoff rematch as well. Give me the Comanches by 7 in a tough battle on the road!

Honorable mention: Lovelady @ Jewett-Leon, This one has big district champ implications as well. Both are top dogs in their district so far. The Cougars are 6-1 (3-0) in district and the Lions are 4-2 (2-0). They look to be the strongest 2 from that district so far. I’m taking Lovelady by 14 this week. They just look tough!

2AD2: Pettus @ Three Rivers, This was a tough one to pick. There just aren’t many interesting games and the fact that district just started for D15 and D16. This one features two 5-1 teams that each are 1-0 in district. I can’t think of the last time I saw Pettus at 5-1 either! Not sure I ever have! Kudos to them! However, I think Three Rivers might be a bit stronger. Bulldogs by 14

I have Ganado by an extra point although I know a Ganado person that has Ganado by 14.

I don't know much about either team. Give me the Cougars.

I've never seen Pettus 5-1 but I think Three Rivers probably is to much.

Three Rivers was definitely too much lol! 63-0 over Pettus!
Jewett-Leon pulled out a tough one 15-8 over Lovelady.

Region 4 Week 9:

2AD1:

Dilley @ Taft - This one has district title implications for sure! And not just for the 2 teams at hand. Refugio is likely rooting for Taft in this one! Dilley can likely seal the district title with a big win over Taft here. If they slip up and let the Greyhounds win though. We’re likely looking at a 3 way tie for first. Which could give Refugio a chance for that district title despite the loss to Dilley! My prediction: I think Dilley sees up that district title with a big 14 point win over the Greyhounds!

2AD2:

#1 Bremond @ Burton - possible district title matchup here. Burton and Bremond are 4-0 in district play. Chilton is as well! But this matchup came first. Some big games in this district over the final stretch of the regular season for sure! My prediction: Bremond is just too much for the Panthers. Bremond by 28+

[ganadofan1]

Dilley by 7 and Bremond by 14. I am pulling for Burton though.
