I always do this for Shiners district every year. Forgot to start it last week. So here we go.

Week 2:

Schulenburg @ Brazos - Brazos just doesn’t put together good programs. The Burg is on the rise. Shorthorns by 28

Weimar @ Yorktown - Wildcats vs Wildcats...Yorktown has absolutely nothing! Since the 90s they rarely have. Weimar isn’t that great this season either. But Weimar is better. Weimar by 21

Tidehaven @ Ganado - After coming in at preseason ranked #8, Nado Just didn’t look good last week. A few injuries and lack of depth has them reeling. Tidehaven looks improved from last season. And I believe they just have the upper hand currently. Tigers by 14

Flatonia @ Stockdale - I applaud Flatonia for playing a bigger school. However, they seem to pick weak football programs in their predistrict. To hang with the big boys, gotta get off the porch. Stockdale just never brings much to the table. And that hasn’t changed. Bulldogs by 21

Shiner @ Blanco - The Panthers are usually a tough playoff bunch. And they put a good beat down on a weak Yorktown group last week. As expected. However, Shiner is just on a different level right now. Comanches by 21
