Collinsville jumps out to an early lead and wins game 1 vs Valley Mills 7-1.

Collinsville wins an intense series over Valley Mills 2-1. Attempt at the sweep in game 2 was thwarted in extra innings as VM won 10-7 through 9 innings. Game 3 VM got up 8-2 early but Collinsville chipped away at it and came back for a 15-11 victory to punch their ticket to state.

Collinsville runs rules Centerville in 6 innings and Hawley punches its ticket to the final over Flatonia 4-3 in extra innings.

Shiner took a big blow this past Friday. Lost a stud TE/DE to a season ending knee injury… to make it worse, he might be a better baseball player than football player. And from what I’m hearing, isn’t expected to be back for baseball season either…

Ohh wow. That is tough. I talked to Weimar coach and he didn't sound like he thought they'd be winning state this year to say the least. Lol

Johnson City only lost one starter from last season so they will be in mix again this upcoming season. They bring back their stud LHP Slawinski (Texas A&M) who dominated in the All American game this summer and is the 20th overall ranked player in the nation. They also have some talented incoming freshman that should give them a boost. The season can't get here quick enough!
