Great pitchers duel! Tough way to lose for J.C., but they gave it their all and proved they can play with the top team in 2A. I feel for our Seniors, but no matter how you look at it, getting to the Region final is a big accomplishment and no reason to be ashamed. Slawinski is a beast, it's hard to believe he is only a Sophomore. He definitely put the state on notice with that performance! J.C. will have a lot to build on as they return the Jacobs/Slawinski duo and all their best hitters next season. The future is definitely looking bright! Congrats to Shiner! I will be rooting for yall, hopefully they can finally take home that Title!

How do they determine which regions play each other at the state tournament? I noticed I couldn’t find anything specific ahead of time. Is it some sort of rotation? A coin flip?

I could be wrong, but I always thought it was based on win %. 1 seed plays 4 seed and 2 seed plays 3 seed.
