Yeah it was a crazy round, the top 3 ranked 2A teams got eliminated! I did not expect Ganado to lose after winning game one and I just saw Flatonia also got eliminated which is surprising.

I have always felt the playoffs are about which team hits the ball better. Who is better at the small things, bunting, productive outs in which you move base runners, not striking out. Find a way to get on base and then put pressure on the defense and when they blink and make a mistake you have to make them pay for giving you extra outs.

I was hoping Danbury and Schulenburg could have played in El Campo but Danbury must have won coin flip. They're playing at Cy Creek again.

Shiner lost game 1 to Burton 4-1. Ole Burton came to play.

I saw where Shiner had more hits in both games but unfortunately made a number of errors and didn't get hits when they had runners on. I feel like they were the better team. That's why you play the game.

Yes it is, the errors were certainly frustrating. But oh well, till next year lol.

Good thing is Shiner reloads most years and always has a chance for a good run in football and baseball.
