J.C. beat Mason 6-0 tonight. Slawinski pitched a shutout with 15 Ks and the Eagles also hit 2 home runs. Mason did not pitch their ace which should make Tuesdays game an interesting one.

They certainly can do it. Odds are that Weimar will end up in that D2 bracket with them though. Weimar just seems to find Shiners number some years. So who knows. Huge rivalry there! I’m told those girls play a lot of select ball together growing up. So they know each other well lol

Johnny Slawinski from J.C. is currently 35th on the MLB draft board for the upcoming draft. Exciting times for our baseball program and little town!

Yes it is. Reminds me of Refugio's big time baseball pitcher. Still can't believe Refugio let Jordan Kelley stop playing football.

Yeah I see a lot parallels between them. Kelley was such a talented QB, I'm sure he had a future in the sport if he had decided to pursue it. I'm also surprised Herring let him quit lol.

J.C. beat Mason 8-1 tonight. Sophomore Lorenzen went the distance and pitched a gem with 8 Ks and 1 ER against a strong lineup. The Slawinski brothers each hit a HR against the Puncher ace. J.C. now has 6 different players that have hit a HR this season! Next the Eagles head to Marble Falls to play the 4A Mustangs on Friday(if it doesn't get rained out) and then @ 6A Del Valle on Tuesday.

Something isn't right with our team. Pitching and hitting isn't same as last year.

That's odd, considering how much they returned. Maybe they aren't completely healthy right now?
