Yeah unfortunately he is and it happened in track from what I heard. He was in a boot and crutches at the game last night. I really feel for him and the team.
Oh no… hope he recovers quickly!

I think even if J.C. had Slawinski this would be a tough series for the Eagles. Holland who is in a tough district basically returned their entire team from last season and have played Valley Mills and Thorndale close (both 1 point losses). I have faith that Jacobs can get the Eagles a win on the mound, but after that it kind of turns into a big unknown. Ledbetter has improved exponentially and has the lowest ERA on the team, but he lacks experience on the mound. Behind him it's a Freshman who started the season hot, but kind of ran into a rough patch as it progressed. J.C.'s bats have been hot the last few games, so it will be interesting to see if that carries over to playoffs. I have a feeling this series will probably go three games and whoever's bats are the hottest will take it. It's a shame a season with expectations as high as they have been could very well end in the first round due to injury. Either way go Eagles!

Collinsville swept Wolfe City 16-2 and 10-0 in 5 innings each.

Collinsville's Logan Jenkins extended his streak of consecutive scoreless innings to 63, a state record, in the process!

What a crazy dominant run by him. Collinsville is looking like the best team in the state!

It'll be an exciting playoffs for them for sure. It's baseball and anything can happen on a given night.

J.C. beats Holland in game one 10-0 in 5 innings. Jacobs pitched a 9 K no hitter and was one walk away from a perfect game. Game 2 starts in about 30 mins.
