I recently moved back to J.C. after living in the DFW area for 14 years and boy has it been nice. My wife and I have been hitting up a lot of the state parks in the area, its been a blast. Definitely recommend Pedernales Falls, it is such a cool place!

If I had the money I'd buy hundreds or thousands of acres in the hill country and live in peace on it.

J.C. avenges their season opening loss to the Panthers with a dominant 10 to 0 win in Blanco tonight. Slawinski pitched a complete game shutout with 17 Ks and only 1 hit allowed. The entire Eagle lineup played really well collecting 12 hits and defense made plays when needed. Definitely the most complete game J.C. has played so far this season!

Impressive.

Ganado boys beat Weimar 15-5 and girls won vs Weimar 4-1.

Schulenburg boys beat Shiner 4-3. That surprised me.

Good win for Ganado, looks like they are starting to get back into form! The Shiner loss surprised me too, but I think Schulenburg might be better that their record indicates. Five of their losses are only by 1 to 2 runs and they have played a tough schedule as well. To be honest I think your district is just tough top to bottom with atleast 3 teams that are capable of winning the region imo.

Thank you. The fire was heading straight for J.C., but thankfully the winds changed direction and died down which has made it easier for the fire department to begin containing it. Prayers for everyone that has been impacted!
