J.C. beat a really good Mumford team tonight 10-2 for the sweep. The Eagle bats came to life in this one scoring 10 runs in first 4 innings off 11 hits. Mumford had no answer for Slawinski as he finished with 12 Ks in 6 IP. Next up is Schulenburg, who comes from the strongest 2A district in the state. Should be another fun matchup!

I don't think y'all will have trouble there. I think you guys advance although Schulenburg does have a good team.

Yeah hopefully our bats continue to stay hot for this one. It's going to be another one gamer, which is always a roll of the dice. It will be interesting to see how Schulenburg handles Slawinski considering they have seen a somewhat similar pitcher in Targac from Flatonia.

Good luck against Danbury, their ace can throw low 90s and they have a lefty that can throw mid 80s. Fortunately I think your beast of a district has prepared yall for matchups like this. Whoever wins between yall and Danbury is going to be a handful!

Yeah he seems to be really good, but if there is a team that can beat them it's definitely Ganado. Danbury has lost every game two so far in the playoffs so they are definitely beatable.
