Region 4 D1 will be interesting. I think Schulenburg is the team to beat. J.C. has been knocked out by a team from their district 3 straight years so until that changes, D29 will always be the favorite in Region 4 imo.

Looks like Iola must of won a coin flip because it is a one gamer Friday @ 7:00 in Thrall. That is definitely to Iola's advantage as their lefty is 11-0 and is really good. Three years ago as a Freshmen he held our regional finalist team to just 2 runs. J.C. has a lefty heavy batting lineup so they will need to be at the top of their game for this one. I'm honestly not a huge fan of single game matchups.

Yeah that lefty they have completely shut us down. I dislike one gamers, but when it comes down to it, you have to be able to win these type of games if you want to make it to state. J.C. only loses two starters and returns all pitching so they will be solid again next season.
