I’ve been to this one a few times. It’s a rare one because it actually has a swimming pool in the park. I’ve never done much fishing on this lake but I hear that it’s pretty good. It’s situated with 2 separate units along the lake shore. The Callahan Unit and South Shore Unit. Both have plenty of campsites. Not a bad spot in South Texas. Between Three Rivers and Tilden however, you really want to get there most likely!
I’ve gone to the Callahan unit and taken some deer pictures there. If you go, take a camera. There are some nice bucks there.

I bet! They have a draw for hunts there along with many other parks during the fall.

Man I’ve fallen behind updated parks here in Texas that I’ve recently visited. This was another one. November of this past year we stopped in. I’m posting the video below if y’all are interested.
