Ray Price Gone at 87

Postby bluedawg » Mon Dec 16, 2013 6:53 pm

One of the great died today. I've danced a many a mile across old honky tonk floors to Ray. A lot of you are probably too young to remember him, but bet there are some old timers on here that danced over some cornmeal listening to ole Ray. His music will be missed, a true Texas legend.

Crazy Arms and Heartaches by the numbers. Scooted many a boot to those. And don't forget. Don't you ever get tired of hurting me. Lower the tailgate and get the beer and peanuts :-bd

I've heard him all over the state, can remember a LONG time ago, saw Ray and Willie at the Stagecoach here in Stamford. Helluva a good time.

Used to listen to Bill Mack on WBAP in the 70's while hauling milk to and from Dallas. Ray was always a favorite of his and mine. For the good times.

Nope, Windthorst. Lived here my whole life. Yep the Orange Blossom Special, remember it like yesterday. He played all the old C & W songs. Also "Drinking Champagne" .
