Down in the Rio Grande Valley you will find this gem! With beautiful, easy hiking trails! Lush greenery abound! And birds galore! This is yet another International Birding Park! And if you’ve never seen or heard a chachalaca! Well… this might be the place to go find one! They definitely let you k ow they’re nearby! This completed a Mothers Day Weekend trip back in 2023 for us. No Campsites here though, so plan for a hotel or Air BnB nearby.
