Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park - Texas

One of 3 parks down in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. This one is literally right on the border! Seeing a wall literally being built halfway through the park is unavoidable and kinda paints the ugly reality of the area, and the idea of putting a wall through a protected place! Well, was supposed to be protected anyways. Not here to argue politics. But through the middle of a state park is a wild place for such a thing! However, this is a beautiful park! Has some nice hiking trails. It’s also the only park in the Valley with some sort of camping sites. They’re all hike in. No Rv, and no electric! I’m an RV guy myself, so that’s a no lol.
