Now throwing 11 TD passes with your starting QB to pad stats in an 83-0 game is just classless... Karma is coming next season and it's name is Gunter Tigers (might get an early taste from the Mart Panthers as well)
.) Refugio “running up the score” by playing starters for 3 Quarters against a district full of overmatched teams to make sure they had enough conditioning/reps to get over the hump & win it all was 6 years ago - & I’d say it worked out pretty well for them since they won the title.
.) If you’re referring to 2013, well, I’d say that Gunter/Mart are a little late since Cisco put it on the Cats pretty good in the title game that year.
.) Refugio got drilled by Canadian on live TV in front of the whole state in 2015, nothing but how good Canadian was from the Cats.
.) You do realize it was Mart that scored 90 last night and not Refugio, right? Refugio hasn’t been accused of running up the score on anyone since they got put in a much stronger district with Shiner and others in 2014.
.) Pretty sure Refugio’s schedule shows they aren’t afraid to play anyone - Cameron Yoe, Geronimo Navarro, Goliad, Mathis, Edna, etc.
