Think it's the 3rd. Sucks for their kids. Sad to say but Covid makes a convenient excuse for teams to back out of a game....we saw it quite a bit last year in the 1st round of the playoffs. Wonder how much of a say the kids have in that situation, or if the coach is making the call to pull the plug. I always think back to the 2004 season, when only 2 teams made the playoffs. Evant drew us in the 1st round of the playoffs. They hadn't made the playoffs in 50 years. We whipped them 56-6. They knew coming in the task was tall. You couldn't tell from their fans in the stands. The band played throughout and they were dancing in the stands. That's always stayed with me.
Oh I’m with ya, I’m pretty sure a few of these coaches are only thinking about their career records and not the kids. Very sad deal… Timpson is getting a raw deal too… less game experience before district… hurts them in the long run.Windthorstfan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 10:05 amThink it's the 3rd.
