For kicks and giggles I like looking at the teams schedules on the UIL website to see who these teams beat and who beat them. Interestingly enough Canadian's only loss was a blowout 40-70 against Childress who qualified for the 3A State Tournament. One of their losses were to Graford who qualified for 1A State Tournament. Childress also lost to 1A State Tournament qualifier and TABC #1 Texline. Texline lost to Martin's Mill.

Most Lopsided Victory - TABC #1 Big Sandy 91 Sabine Pass 4

Big Sandy 76 Schulenburg 54

Canadian 68 Martins Mill 62 - MM trailed by 13 after 3, by 16 with 6:40 left but cut the deficit to 7 with 4:34 seconds but couldn't get any closer until the waning seconds getting to within 4 with 21 seconds left. Canadian won it on the Free throw line where they hit 19 of 22 - MM wasn't too shabby making 8 of 11.

Canadian 21-46 from the floor, including 7-21 from beyond the arc, Martins Mill was 21-49, including 12-29 from beyond the arc.

Canadian did indeed lose to a very good Childress team earlier in the year and not too long after our boys finished in football. They had Galla on the bench during that game as well. Martins Mill also beat Texline. Can't wait to watch Canadian take on Big Sandy today at 1:30.

Canadian had two starters out for that game. One of those games that just flat got out of hand.
