The UIL state cross-country meet will grow in 2014-15, adding fourth-place qualifying teams from each regional to the field.

Wow. I think I like that, though, as far as the teams go. There seems to be awfully good CC teams staying home in Region 1, and I'm sure that's the case in the other 3 as well. The individual qualifiers seem to be the ones at the top at the end of the day in Round Rock. But I don't know that this will hurt having the fourth place team going to State.
